This object, known as 2020 XL₅, was first spotted in December 2020 using Pan-STARRS telescopes on the summit of Haleakala on the Hawaiian island of Maui. But the determination of its orbit required follow-up observations using the 4.1-meter SOAR (Southern Astrophysical Research) telescope in Chile. Based on this data, a team led by planetary scientist Toni Santana-Ros of the University of Alicante in Spain has now announced that 2020 XL₅ is trapped for at least the next several thousand years in an orbit about one of the Sun-Earth “Lagrange points”....

According to figures shared with crypto news outlet The Block, blockchain companies dished out nearly $1 million in bug bounties on HackerOne in 2019. Over the course of 2019, white-hat hackers and bug finders were awarded a total of $968,504. Back in 2018, blockchain firms dished out $878,504 in bug bounties, Hard Fork reported at the time. In outright value of paid bug bounties, this represents a small but still notable 10 percent increase year-on-year from 2018 to 2019....

Our cars have evolved through over-the-air software updates that add new functions and services. Now Bosch has set their sites on a similar capability to ebikes through their white label BoscheBike Systems and the eBike Flow app. The most important feature is not what it does but what it will do. Over the next few weeks, Google Glass owners will be able to listen to tracks from their Play Music library, as well as All Access – Google’s on-demand music streaming service – simply by uttering the phrase “Okay Glass, listen to”. The update will also include Sound Search, announced in September, for Shazam-style song identification using the “Okay Glass, what song is this?” command. Those who are part of the Glass Explorers program will receive an email in the coming weeks with more details about the new music features....
